Jour #4: On y va à...?

You guessed it, Paris!

Many of our students got their first taste of the "City of Lights" today, and what a beautiful day it was: 80 degrees and sunny with a pleasant breeze!

Our bus driver excellently navigated the crowded boulevards and the narrow streets, and the students were impressed by his calm nature amidst all the motorcycles flying by.  Today's theme could be summed up in one simple word: large!  "C'est très grande, Madame!" was a phrase uttered on many occasions. And you can see why in looking at photos of the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre, the iconic Notre-Dame de Paris and La Tour Eiffel, bien sûr.

And of course, no Parisian day would be complete without pastries and a picnic in the Jardin du Luxembourg, a former residence of the royal family.

They seem to be getting comfortable with the Parisian lifestyle--and we don't blame them! :-)  Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow!
